What is organizational amnesia?

Organizational amnesia is the loss of institutional knowledge that occurs when employees leave, transfer, or retire - taking their context, decisions, relationships, and unwritten know-how with them. It is one of the leading causes of repeated mistakes, slow new-hire ramp-up, and re-debated decisions inside fast-moving teams.

How is Reattend different from Glean or Notion?

Glean is enterprise search - it tells you which documents mention a topic. Notion is a wiki - it stores what you write. Reattend is organizational memory - it captures decisions, the rationale behind them, who decided, when, and whether they were reversed. How much does Reattend cost?

Reattend has one paid team price: $19 per user per month, or $182.40 per user per year. It includes unlimited AI questions, full retention, every connector, SSO (SAML/OIDC), the hash-chained audit log and two-tier RBAC - there is no higher tier that unlocks those. There is also a $9 per month single-user plan, and Reattend is free forever if you connect your own AI provider key. Government and on-premise deployments are custom-quoted. Team plans start with a 15-day free trial, the single-user plan with 7 days, and neither asks for a card.

How does Reattend prevent organizational amnesia?

Reattend captures decisions with their full rationale, runs structured exit interviews when employees offboard, transfers knowledge to organizational roles rather than individuals, and uses a time-machine view to let you see exactly what the organization knew at any point in the past. The Weekly Audit feature scores your knowledge health and tells you exactly what is going stale.

What is Reattend's compliance posture?

Reattend ships with a hash-chained WORM audit log, record-level RBAC enforced before retrieval, and GDPR self-export and erasure built in. Data is stored in a single US region today; dedicated regional and on-premise deployments are available for government and regulated engagements. SOC 2 is on the roadmap and will be pursued alongside the first regulated customer engagement that requires it. Can Reattend run on-premise or air-gapped?

Send text to Reattend from any script, bot or tool with the capture API. Each capture arrives like anything saved from the extension, and the AI organizes it.

1. Get an API key

Open Extension in the sidebar and generate a key. Copy it straight away - it is only shown once. You can revoke it from the same page at any time.

2. Send a capture

POST JSON to https://reattend.com/api/tray/capture with the headerAuthorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY. The only required field is text(up to 50,000 characters). Optional fields: source (a label such as"ci"), occurred_at (an ISO date), and metadata(any JSON object, for example a url and title).
