Desktop app troubleshooting

The questions we hear most often. If none of these match, email us a screenshot. We reply within 12 hours, every day.

Can't join your organization?+
Use the button in the email your admin sent, or type your work email in the app and enter the 6-digit code we email you. If no code arrives, check your spam folder, then ask your admin to confirm you were added under People.
Something you expected is not being captured?+
Only apps and sites marked as work count as work, either by you or by your organization's policy. Mark the app or site as work in the desktop app. Everything else stays personal and never leaves your computer.
Want to check what was shared?+
Open What left this Mac in the app. It lists every item that went to your organization, why it qualified, exactly what was sent and who can see it. You can take any item back from there, and switches choose which kinds may leave.
Windows warns about the app on first launch?+
Windows (pilot): not yet code-signed, so Windows shows a one-time security warning. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Only download it from reattend.com. The Mac app is notarised and opens normally.
