What leaves the laptop, and what never does
On your own, nothing about your memory leaves the machine. In an organisation, the app holds a seat issued by your administrator and talks to your organisation's server only. What crosses that wire is the memory the model made of your work: a memory's title and summary, a fact, a task, a decision, the names of people and projects, meeting notes. What never crosses it: screen text, which window was open and when, meeting audio and transcripts, documents, anything you marked personal.
| Your laptop | Everything, encrypted at rest with a key in your login keychain or credential store. Readable by you. |
| Your organisation's server | Derived work memory with its author and visibility, under your organisation's role model. Models and installers mirrored for the laptops. Run by your organisation, inside its walls. |
| Reattend | Nothing of yours. Licences are checked on the laptop; there is no activation call and no telemetry. |
Administrators set capture policy, issue seats and read the control room on the web; people never need to open it. The compliance page has the controls in detail, and pricing the seat.
