How search works

Reattend offers hybrid search that combines traditional keyword matching with AI-powered semantic understanding.

How it works

When you search, Reattend runs two searches in parallel:

1. Text search - Matches exact words and phrases in memory titles, summaries, and content.
2. Semantic search - Converts your query into an embedding and finds memories with similar meaning, even if they use different words.

Results are merged and ranked by relevance. Each result shows a similarity score and whether it was found via text, semantic, or both.
