Creating memories manually

While most memories are created automatically through inbox triage, you can also create them directly.

Creating from the memories page

1. Go to Memories in the sidebar.
2. Click New Memory.
3. Enter the content - plain text or a file upload.
4. The AI will process it in the background, adding type, entities, and tags.

Creating from the inbox

Capture a raw item in the inbox and let AI triage handle the rest. This is the recommended workflow for most users.

File uploads

You can upload files when creating a memory. The AI will read the file content and enrich the memory accordingly.
