What is organizational amnesia?

Organizational amnesia is the loss of institutional knowledge that occurs when employees leave, transfer or retire, taking their context, decisions, relationships and unwritten know-how with them. It leads to repeated mistakes, slow new-hire ramp-up and re-debated decisions.

How is Reattend different from enterprise search or a wiki?

Enterprise search finds documents that mention a topic. A wiki stores what someone remembered to write. Reattend captures work as it happens through a desktop app on each computer, and keeps the decisions, reasons, commitments and who knows what. There is nothing to connect, and when someone leaves, what they knew stays.

How much does Reattend cost?

Reattend is free for organisations up to 20 employees, with unlimited questions. Business is $15 per employee a month, or $144 a year, with 15 days free and no card. A licence is per employee who uses the desktop app, covering up to 3 of their computers; people who only use the dashboard are free. Government and regulated deployments are by quote. For one person, Reattend Personal is two months free, then $19 a month.

How does Reattend prevent organizational amnesia?

A desktop app on every computer captures work as it happens and an AI model on the computer turns it into memories: decisions, facts, tasks and the people involved. Only that derived knowledge is shared with the organisation. Leaders see a control room, "If they left tomorrow" for any person, and exit interviews that become handoff documents.

What does Reattend see, and what leaves the computer?

Only apps and sites marked as work count. Raw activity such as screen text, audio, transcripts and documents stays on the computer, encrypted. Only derived knowledge is shared: titles, summaries, facts, tasks and meeting notes. Each person can see everything that left, and take any item back.

What is Reattend's compliance posture?

Reattend has a hash-chained audit log, record-level access control enforced before the AI sees anything, compliance exports and erasure, and single sign-on. Every person can see who opened their memories. The Compliance page on reattend.com lists each control and its status.

Can Reattend run on our own server or air-gapped?

Yes. Government and regulated organisations can run their own server: laptops talk only to it, it mirrors the AI models and installers, and Reattend holds nothing. Air-gapped installs are possible, and a trainer can be sent to scan existing paper records.
