Drawing connections and edge types

Connect nodes with typed edges - related, depends on, leads to, and more.

Connections (edges) show relationships between nodes. They're a key part of building your visual knowledge graph.

Creating connections

Hover over a node to see connection handles. Click and drag from one handle to another node to create an edge. You'll be prompted to choose a relationship type.

Edge types

  • Related to (purple) - General association.
  • Depends on (blue) - One item depends on another.
  • Leads to (green) - Causal or sequential relationship.
  • Contradicts (red) - Conflicting information.
  • Supports (orange) - Evidence or reinforcement.
  • Part of (pink) - Hierarchical containment.
  • Blocks (gray) - Something preventing progress.

You can also set custom edge colors for additional visual distinction.
